Making sense of the data in your business can make a big difference to the success of your business - and its valuation.
Whilst this is true, data for the sake of data doesn't always help you move in the right direction. Does your data have masses of duplication? Does it have the right data in the right places? Is it in a state where it is actually useful to you and your process?
You may well have had various different methods to collate data throughout the years, and then when you come to make use of it, it is a garbled mess. We can help.
Cleansing might include tasks like the following:
- Unifying data held in different silos
- De-duplication
- Highlighting bad data records - words held in phone number records, for example
- Separating out bad data versus good, and re-populating the records with the correct data (bad phone numbers in one silo - but we can re-populate that data with the good phone numbers we hold elsewhere
- Adding in validation to ensure the right information is gathered in future
Data Migration
Moving from one platform to another can be a daunting task. One of the biggest risks is a loss of historic data. Have you spent the last 5-10+ years building up a history of customer information and order details? You don't want to lose this precious information when moving to a more modern platform.

We have completed complex data migrations on many occasions. Moving from one e-commerce system to another or one booking management system to another. There is always a different way that the data is managed by these different systems. Sometimes, there are migration tools to assist. However, in our experience, they rarely migrate everything just as you need it.
We can help plug the gap and make migration a less daunting proposition.
